electronic boards, the intelligence behind ALWIN.

ALWIN runs on its own main and door controller boards, designed in-house to connect software and field equipment without weak links. Because if the foundation isn’t solid, nothing else really is.

The smart hardware behind secure, seamless operations.

Every secure door, every validated credential and every logged event depends on decisions made in real time. ALCEA’s controller boards - the SA3 main controller, MTE2 door controller and CE extension boards - form a unified access control architecture. Together, they distribute intelligence across your site while maintaining structured control through ALWIN.

    Main Controllers

The SA3 applies your access control rules, manages events and keeps multiple doors aligned with your security strategy, in direct link with ALWIN.

  • Door Controller MTE2, on purple background

    Door Controllers

Installed in a secure enclosure close to your access points, the MTE2 processes credentials locally and remains fully functional without a network connection

  • Extension Board - CE, on purple background

    Extension Boards

The CE boards add inputs and outputs as your infrastructure evolves, without redesigning your architecture.

Controller boards operate in tough environments, ALCEA enclosures protect against tampering, support structured installation and simplify maintenance access, ensuring long-term reliability in the field.

How it works.

Every system is tailored to your security needs and site layout. The example below shows one typical access control flow; configurations can be adapted to your infrastructure and policies.
  1. A user presents their badge at the reader.
  2. The MTE2 door controller securely sends the information to the SA3 main controller.
  3. The SA3 main controller applies your access rules - instantly, even offline.
  4. The door unlocks or the alarm triggers.
  5. The event is logged and synced with ALWIN. If the server is offline, the SA3 main controller stores up to 100,000 events locally and syncs them automatically once the connection is restored.

Built for the realities of critical infrastructure.

Critical infrastructure sites don’t pause for outages or operational pressure. Your access control system shouldn’t either. ALCEA controller boards are engineered for these realities. Local decision-making keeps doors operational during connectivity issues. Encrypted communication strengthens cybersecurity across devices. Centralized management through ALWIN simplifies multi-site administration and reduces field intervention.

The result is a stable, cyber-secure access control system that supports your operations, every day.
